Caroline Owens, one of bluegrass music’s fastest-rising stars, makes her debut with Billy Blue Records, releasing the breakout single, “You’ve Still Got It.” With multiple accolades and nominations already under her belt, Owens has quickly made a name for herself as one of the genre’s most promising young talents and plans to release a full album (produced by Jerry Salley and Darin Aldridge) later this year.
With an accompanying music video set for release in April, “You’ve Still Got It” builds on the success of her single “Build Me an Ark,” which climbed to #1 on the Bluegrass Today charts, along with “The Healing Kind,” which also topped the Top 20 chart on BanjoRadio.
“When I first heard this single— penned by Jerry Salley and John Pennell— I just knew that I had to have this song,” stated Caroline Owens. “I remember Jerry playing it for me, and about halfway through, I said, ‘We’ve found the one. This is the first single. I don’t even need to hear the rest of the song to know that.’”
